BREEZY

In the late summer of 2013 Maggie saw this tiny little kitten dart across our parking lot into the Publix parking lot. One of our receptionists, went out to try and help the kitten. The kitten had climbed up into the engine of a van, to no avail Jennifer could not get her out. She was able to make contact with the owners of the van and they gladly popped the hood so that Jennifer was able to retrieve the tiny, dirty and very frightened kitten. We brought her in and gave her the medical attention she needed. We decided to name her Breezy, because she flew like a breeze across the parking lot and then all over the clinic! After spaying her we had planned to adopt her out to a good home. The bond between Mr. Big and Breezy was too strong for us.

MR. BIG

Mr. Big was brought to our clinic after being found abandoned. He was malnourished and had sustained an injury to his right front leg. Radiographs revealed a humoral fracture which had healed in a bad position and would not allow him to use his leg. Dr. Lovell took him to surgery and had to re-break the bone and set it correctly with a pin. After an eight week stay while receiving rehab, the pin was removed. The bone healed perfectly and he has full use of the broken leg. Since Mr. Big loved staying at the clinic and appreciated the care he received from all the staff, it was decided that Eastside Animal Hospital would be his permanent home. Mr. Big is now a popular guy and all the clients have come to expect to see him at every visit.
